Andre Dawson finally made it to the hall with 77.9% of the vote.  He will be the only one admitted this year, the question though, will he go into the hall as a Cub or an Expo.  He also played for the Red Sox and Marlins but for only 2 seasons with each team.

Here are some stats:


For the Expos he played for 11 seasons.  He won the rookie of the year award in 1977.  He batted .280 with 225 home runs and 838 rbi.  He also stole 253 bases and won 6 gold gloves and went to 3 all star games.

For the Cubs he played in only 6 seasons.  But with the Cubs he made his only post-season appearance in 1989 and won the MVP award on a last place team in 1987.  That year was by far the best of his career when he hit .287, hit 49 home runs and batted in 137.  For his total time with the Cubs he batted .285, hit 174 home runs, batted in 587, and stole 57 bases.  He won 2 gold glove awards and went to 5 all star games with the Cubs.

My vote?  Cubs, but I'm a little biased.  Besides, are there any Expos fans that want him to go in as an Expo?  They didn't even have fans when the team actually existed!
